Elaine Brown is the founder and director of Fostering Hope International.  She has had a heart for sharing the love of Jesus Christ to the African people since she made her profession of faith at age 7 when she told her church she wanted to accept Christ as her Lord and Savior and to be a missionary in Africa.  In October, 2008 her calling became a reality.  She became a missionary/volunteer in Ghana, West Africa.  She has partnered with Bishops Isaac and Grace Akorli, Ghanaian nationals who began Amazing Grace Gospel, Int., a group of 9 churches in Ghana and Togo.  Their goals of sharing the love of Jesus throughout the world matched, and a partnership was formed.

For 12 months Elaine worked with Isaac and Grace, planting a new church, doing public and personal evangelism, sharing the film “The Jesus Video” in open market areas, and offering conversational English classes for 10 weeks after the showing, to strengthen not only teach English, but to disciple people as the film was used as the basis for the classes.  She also led a leadership conference for the pastors and elders of the churches. Conferences are very expensive and out of reach for most leaders.

Elaine became involved with the 36 orphans that Amazing Grace Gospel is taking care of. With funds raised from friends, family, churches, and others she has helped provide food, clothing, and an education for this children who have neither parent alive and were found on the streets of Ghana. She is now raising funds to complete a permanent home for these children.
